Opening hours

Open 7 days a week from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Municipal council meetings

The Stadhuis hosts the municipal council meeting every last Monday of the month (except in July). A reduced price applies for the City Hall and the Brugse Vrije.

Weddings

Weddings still regularly take place in the town hall. When a wedding is scheduled, we close the town hall. Weddings can take place on Tuesday morning, Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. We only open ticket sales for those time slots a week in advance, so we can be sure you can visit the town hall.

Access to Brugse Vrije (weekends)

On weekends, your ticket for City Hall also gives access to the Brugse Vrije (Liberty of Bruges). Buy your City Hall ticket and visit both locations. Tip: The Brugse Vrije-ticket - which comes with the purchase of a City Hall ticket - is valid for seven days. So those who visit City Hall on a weekday can come back during the weekend to also visit the Brugse Vrije for free.
