People with physical disabilities can visit the Museum Sint-Janshospitaal. A lift is available and there are folding chairs without backs.
At the museum, we provide wheelchairs to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Simply book a wheelchair for the museum via the button below. Select the preferred date and time of your visit. Don't forget to book your entrance ticket to the museum as well. We will keep the wheelchair reserved for you for half a day. Do you no longer wish to use the wheelchair? Please send an email to musea.reservatie@brugge.be in good time so we can cancel it for you.
A visit to one of our locations is the perfect family outing. All our museums are child- and family-friendly. At the Museum Sint-Janshospitaal, children can explore and discover the museum. Ask for the free children's audio guide at the ticket desk or dive into the children's hospital.
A hilarious audio tour for children in collaboration with Het Geluidshuis. Museum assistant Sam, during his round through the museum, has discovered that he can talk to the characters in the paintings. He is happy to share his secret with you. With plenty of humor, you will explore the museum's collection.
In the museum, the youngest visitors can have fun in the children's hospital. They can put on a doctor's coat, examine their dolls, apply bandages, make a diagnosis using X-rays, or explore the many books.
In the magnificent attic at Museum Sint-Janshospitaal, you'll feel like you've stepped into another universe. Do you hear that? Splendid sounds inspired by polyphonic music from Memling's day guide you on a trip back in time. Take a seat at the hands-on table and dive into Memling's masterful universe.
